The Noordhoek Ostrich Farm and Resort offers visitors an oasis of silence, tranquility, and green pasture. In 2001, Noordhoek also began offering its guests fresh jomeade ale, for which hosts Urbain, Carlo, and Phillipe soon became quite famous.

The Dutch word for "ostriches" is "struise," but the same word can also mean "sturdy" or "robust". This "Robust White" is unfiltered, unpasteurized, and bottle-conditioned, with notes of fine malt, fresh herbs, and citrus.
