Country of Origin: Belgium
Brewery: Kerkom
Beer Style: Blonde Ale, Farmhouse Ale, IPA/Hoppy Beer
Alcohol By Volume: 5.5%
Format: 330ml loose bottles

There is no other Belgian beer quite like Bink Blond. Dry-hopped and a lovely golden color, it is brewed by purists using only malt, hops, yeast, and water. Bink Blond is easily one of Belgium’s hoppiest beers, but it packs more malty flavor than you would expect from a beer of only 5.5% alcohol by volume.

The Kerkom Brewery is a family operation built into a rambling farmhouse surrounded by Belgium’s best cherry orchards. In the summer beer lovers from all over the country come to drink fresh beer in the courtyard in front of the brewery. Brewer Marc Limet, saddened by the gradually decreasing interest in hoppy traditional beers among Belgium’s bigger breweries, has determined single-handedly to bring back real hops into Belgian brewing.
