Wijs playfully refers to the Bavarian Dunkel Weizens, but this beer is a unique Dutch rendition of this classic style. Bottom fermented, unfiltered, unpastuerized, and fermented in traditional open tubs, the Wijs is brewed with part wheat malt and part dark barley malt. It’s pours a beautiful copper with a creamy tan head.
