Daniel Shelton sat down with Kulmbacher’s brewmaster Stefan Simon during Kulmbacher Bierwoche, which is Franconia’s answer to Oktoberfest.

Kulmbacher Brauerei is made up of four brands Kulmbacher, Kapuziner, EKU, and Mönchshof. They are the largest brewery in the Shelton Brothers portfolio. While they are large, they continue to produce artisinal products. All of their beers adhere to the Reinheitsgebot, the Bavarian Purity Law.
