“No Shortcuts was brewed as part of the Simple Hops Underdog Brewing Competition 2018, which bans the use of a range of popular hops and requires at least fifty percent of the hop bill to be an ‘unsung hero’ of the hop world.

This year’s hop is a modern German varietal, Mandarina Bavaria, which is honestly pretty great – we’ve used it liberally both in hopback and dry-hop to give strong flavours, with a whack of citrus backed up by rich earthy notes.”
